This queer wedding was set on a warm fall day surrounded by golden light and the changing leaves of the Hudson Valley, it was the kind of celebration that felt effortless and full of joy. It was the perfect balance of intimate and relaxed, with around fifty guests who radiated love and support for the couple. Everything about the day reflected their personalities—warm, genuine, and so full of connection. This is what I love most about weddings. Seeing two people who fully and genuinely love each other for all there is.
As their photographer, I felt more like a friend than just a vendor. I celebrated right alongside everyone else. The energy was contagious, and every moment—whether it was a candid exchange during cocktail hour or a quiet pause before the ceremony—felt beautifully real. These are the moments I strive for, and at this wedding in particular, they were happening all around me. Everyone was so relaxed and enjoying themselves it all just fell into place.

Its rustic-meets-modern charm, open fields, and cozy indoor spaces make it an incredible choice for couples wanting a relaxed yet stunning upstate New York wedding venue. The fall colors added the perfect touch of magic to the photos, giving everything that golden, romantic glow. It's set on a medium hill overlooking a quant river. That is where theres a small ceremony space encircling a wooden arch. Back up the hill you have a small barn with a beautiful area under the trees for eating and having a fire. On-site is a small tiny home, where the couple can hide away to get ready, and later stay the evening to wind down from the festivities.
